Why I chose Heating, Ventilation, and A/C work over school

Although I did genuinely well in middle school, it was not something I loved; Due to my natural intelligence and ability to get along with people, my educators all started pushing me into applying for school. They told me that to legitimately succeed in life I would need a school degree. They were trying to be encouraging and supportive, however they easily pushed me towards doing something that I had no interest in doing. The truth is that when I looked at the facts and figures, I realized that a school degree is no longer a wise investment; A much smarter move was to become Heating, Ventilation, and A/C certified, and beginning making a superb salary while avoiding all that nasty student loan debt; Having a degree from an esteemed school is all about status, and I knew that with an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C certification I could make more money in my career than with a fancy degree. I didn’t need status, I needed stability, and by some simple market research I saw that the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C industry had been growing steadily for decades and showed no signs of slowing down. If I was going to learn a trade it needed to be in a grown industry appreciate Heating, Ventilation, and A/C, because that would almost guarantee future task opportunities. I have heard from friends and relatives that I was “too smart” to go into Heating, Ventilation, and A/C work, and that I should be going to school. I constantly tell them that being smart was why I chose not to go to school! Heating, Ventilation, and A/C work was the smart option for me, they will realize that one day.
