I remember when I was 12 years old I started mowing grasss to gain extra currency.

These days it seems that grown men do all of the yard work for our city, however in our morning it was just a kid dragging a single grassmower around. I was blessed if I got several bucks for mowing a grass, however I stayed with it, all through the Spring plus into the summer, to achieve our goal. I wasn’t saving up for comics, or a new bike, I wanted our own a/c, my dad was a tyrant with the thermostat, plus even when it got over 78 degrees in the home he refused to turn it on. What is the point of even having an a/c if you refuse to use it? It got myself and others motivated enough that I rode our bike up to Walmart plus got the retail price for the cheapest portable a/c. If he refused to let myself and others use the a/c I would just have to buy our own plus use that instead. I worked our butt off for weeks, however finally had enough currency to buy our own little a/c unit, plus our friends helped myself and others install it in the window of our bedroom. What I didn’t expect was that after you buy the a/c you still have to pay for the electricity to make it work. My dad made myself and others pay our tolerable share of the utility bill after that
