HVAC technicians are different in other countries.
I have only been to a few other countries, but I have somehow managed to experience the HVAC industry in all of those counties.
I traveled out of the States a few years ago, and it was a wonderful experience except for the part where my air conditioner stopped working. It was rough because the temperatures were tropical, and I was not used to such warm temperatures. I am from one of the coldest states in the country, so I don’t know what I was thinking about traveling to a tropical climate as I did. I had air conditioning for the first few days, and I was totally fine, but on the morning of the fourth day that I was there, I woke up in a puddle of sweat in a very warm room. I checked the air conditioner several times, but I couldn’t seem to figure out what was wrong with it. I called a friend to help me contact an HVAC technician. He told me that HVAC technicians weren’t as readily available in that country as they are in the states, so it may take a month or more before an HVAC technician could fix my air conditioner. I was so upset when I heard him say that. I told him to offer an HVAC technician double the money that he would normally get if he would come and fix my air conditioner as soon as possible. It must have worked because there was an HVAC technician at my house within a few days. I am so glad that I live in a place where HVAC technicians aren’t so hard to come by.
