Back in the Spring, I won a raffle that they were doing to raise money for our son’s school.
I bought a few tickets, although I never definitely expected to win anything.
However, I somehow ended up winning the grand prize! I was definitely surprised that I won because I never win anything. I truthfully don’t guess that I have ever won anything else in our entire life, even a game of Bingo. But somehow, the stars must have all aligned that day of the raffle drawing because I got the call that I had won the prize. I was even more excited when I found out what the prize was because I had won a brand new high efficiency heating plus cooling system! This was something that I was in the market for anyway, however it was taking me a long time to figure out exactly what kind of Heating as well as A/C equipment I wanted. I definitely needed to get a replacement because our old central a/c method had stopped laboring plus I needed a new a single. This whole thing happened right around the time that the weather was heating up for the first time this year plus I wasn’t about to wait until the heat of the summer time to start looking for a new a/c. At that point, I was overwhelmed by the fact that new Heating as well as A/C units were so expensive. I had no plan up until that point that they cost quite so much. Anyway, whenever I found out that I had won a brand new a single by purchasing some $5 raffle tickets, I felt like I was the luckiest person in the whole world.
