I work for a moving company here in town.
And believe me, we get all kinds of different jobs.
From regular moving residents from home to home to big businesses moving and more. The last big job we had was last week and it was harder than having to move any home! It was for an HVAC supplier and they wanted us to move 8 super huge central heating and air conditioning system units from their warehouse to different heat and a/c companies! These heating and cooling units are not light. They are major monsters. It took 4 of us just to move one single heating and air conditioning unit from the warehouse to the moving truck. Then when we would unload each one at a heat and a/c company it was the same exact thing. I have never in my life had such a physically stressing moving job in all my years working here! Even though the job paid a little more than the usual amount, I do not want to ever have to do one of these heating and air conditioning systems for the rest of my life. Especially when dealing with a handful of them that had to be transported from one location to another. I didn’t even imagine that heating and air conditioning units were going to be that hard to move. I had moved single heating and air conditioning systems before in residential moves and this was way harder than that. Hopefully it won’t happen again anytime in the near future.
