The sun discolored all my rugs

Three years ago I bought this burgundy rug that I installed throughout my house, then the color was a rich orange color, however it looked like an overpriced wine.

I just loved the dark rug with my pale white walls… Eventually I observed that overtime I liked the rug less plus less! Suddenly it started looking sort of pink to me, then nobody wants pink rugs unless they are a 10 year aged girl.

I couldn’t figure out why I abruptly had a strange colored rug. That was until I started moving furniture around. The carpet under my bed was the same deep wine color. All around my bed was that horrible pink. I realized that the sun pouring in from my windows discolored all the rugs; My rugs are now a unusual cow pattern. The hallway is still gorgeous because it is protected from the sun. Most of the living rooms aren’t. I recognize like I can’t transfer my furniture due to the rugs being strange colors. I found online that people use a sun control window film to stop their fabrics from discoloring. I should have gotten the window film installed right with the rug. Now I am screwed. I found my rug again online plus I am debating on reading it, and but, I would need to pull up all the rugs in my lake house plus lay it down again. It is only three years old! I also would need to pay for the window film installation. I am in quite a tomato but I hate the look of my lake house right now. Something has to change.
