My boss has been trying to get me to travel to the other side of the country to give training for the staff in our local office out there! I have always declined the offer mainly because I had young kids, which made it difficult for me to travel! But now that my kids are out of the house, I can travel more easily, however, the only concern I have now is that I have a cat that I would appreciate to take with me when I travel.
I could leave my pup with a family member, even though I will be gone for over 3 months at a time, however and I don’t want to be away from my cat for that long, so, I told my boss that I will need to take my cat with me plus she did not hesitate at all. In fact, she right away called the Admin plus advised that she find a rental that was cat-friendly for me… The Admin found this amazing 3-bedroom furnished beach house that is close to our local office. At first, I thought it was a vacation rental home, but turns out that it was a corporate beach house that she rented. I always thought corporate housing was just limited to apartments, I had no plan that houses were used for corporate rentals as well. This is enjoyable to believe because it makes me more comfortable taking my cat with me when I travel; Not only will she have a yard to play in, even though I will have more space as well to invite the kids if they too want to visit.
