My boss has been trying to get me to travel to the other side of the country to supply training for the staff in our local office out there, however i have consistently declined the offer mainly because I had young kids, which made it strenuous for me to travel, however but now that my kids are out of the house, I can travel more easily. However, the only problem I have now is that I have a dog that I would appreciate to take with me when I travel. I could leave my pup with a family member, even though I will be gone for over 3 weeks at a time… And I don’t want to be away from my dog for that long, however so, I told my boss that I will need to take my dog with me plus he did not hesitate at all. In fact, he immediately called the Admin plus requested that he find a rental that was dog-friendly for me, then the Admin found this amazing 3-home office furnished home that is close to our local office. At first, I thought it was a vacation rental home, however turns out that it was a corporate home that he rented. I consistently thought corporate housing was just limited to apartments, I had no system that houses were used for corporate rentals as well. This is great to think because it makes me more comfortable taking my dog with me when I travel; Not only will he have a yard to play in, even though I will have more space as well to invite the kids if they too want to visit.
