My first babysitting work was somewhat of a disaster.
I remember being so excited to earn some money.
Everything was going well until it was time to feed the 2-year-olds, when I realized it was a battle that I would not win, I left them alone and let them have yogurt instead, at around seven, if the twins started saying that it was cold, I had also noted the same, and I were all in jackets. I was sleepy from chasing them around. The minute I sat on the couch, I started dozing off. A crash caused by the twins woke me up. I also noticed that the temperatures had dipped lower, and the programmable temperature control confirmed the obvious, resetting it proved not to work, so I went to the air conditioner component to try and restart it manually, but my father was an heating and air conditioning professional, so I knew a thing or 2 about heat and A/C products. When I found it, there was not a shadow of a doubt that it was a quality heating and air conditioning, a current heating and air conditioning at that. The air conditioner replacement also used cooling technology that was absolutely on the upper side of the price range. I was no cooling expert, although I knew that sometimes restarting could help solve some easy issues, and it did. I had never been so grateful to my father for introducing me to the cooling industry early. I also checked their air conditioner filter and found that it was in superb condition. The house started warming up slowly, although I would still ask my neighbors to contact a heating and air conditioning tech for service to ensure that the cooling component was running smoothly. When I narrated the events of that night to my dad, he did not help but boast about his business to my neighbors.
