I used to think that HVAC inspections were a waste of money, but I definitely don’t think that anymore.
I don’t know why I was so antagonistic about HVAC inspections in the past.
I guess that I had a hard time trusting HVAC technicians. I had a dad that knew how to fix everything in the house, and we never had to hire an HVAC technician. If our furnace or central air conditioner stopped working, my dad simply fixed it himself. He was good at it, and we enjoyed the luxury of always having perfectly running HVAC units. However, I never learned how to fix my own HVAC units, and I live very far away from my dad, so I have had to hire HVAC technicians. Automatically, I hate how much HVAC technicians charge. I spend so much money to get my HVAC units repaired. I know that their labor is worth a lot, and I know that HVAC technicians are important, but getting my HVAC units repaired was getting expensive. One day, the HVAC technician told me about the HVAC inspections that they offer. Apparently, they will come to your house during the off-season. They inspect your HVAC units and repair anything that they see. I figured that it was a total waste of money. Why would I pay an HVAC technician to repair my HVAC unit when it was running well. I refused for a while, thinking it was a scam. I am glad I changed my mind. The HVAC technician catches any future problem, and I have never had an HVAC unit break down again. In fact, I have even started saving money on my HVAC repairs.
