I asked my sister if she knew anything about the mystery woman
My mom passed away 3 years ago and my dad told us that he would never ever date again. My sister and I always wanted my dad to find someone that would make him happy the way our mother did. He is a great guy that deserves all of the happiness in the world. Dad never told either one of us that he was dating someone, but I found out in the strangest and most peculiar way. My boss sent me out to the interstate to deal with a hotel HVAC issue. There was no AC in the lobby and the hotel was a customer of ours. I arrived at the hotel and started taking all of my tools out of the truck. I was standing inside of the hotel lobby waiting to speak to the manager about the HVAC issues. People were standing all over waiting for their room. I happened to notice a familiar face on the other side of the lobby. I was very surprised to see the familiar face. It was my dad and he had his arms around a woman. I did not approach my dad. I figured he had a reason for keeping the woman a secret. I called my sister as soon as I was done with the HVAC repair. I asked my sister if she knew anything about the mystery woman. She was just as clueless as I was. We are waiting for the right time to confront our dad with the information that I found out this week. We are both hoping that he will tell us about the special person in his life.
