I went to a housing complex to work on a heat pump problem.
The manager was in the office when I arrived.
I double checked with the manager then the leasing agent just to be sure that there were no pets inside of the apartment. I have had some troubles in the past with dangerous pets, so I like to knock on the door even if there is not supposed to be anyone at home. Usually if there is a dangerous pet in there not listed on the lease, the pet will start to bark at the sound of my voice as well as the knock on the door. I provided the staff the house number for the heating pump repair again as well as it turns out that they looked at the wrong file when they checked on the pet the 1st time. There was a pet listed on the renter’s lease. The error by the management team nearly cost myself and others a leg.
