I had been laboring for this Heating and Air Conditioning business for so long and I grew unquestionably comfortable with the style of work that I did.
Because of our expertise laboring on commercial and residential Heating and Air Conditioning systems, everyone would come to me to ask unusual questions, however usually I was able to come up with a wonderful answer to most problems, but usually I had to see what was going on for myself to make a precise judgment.
Eventually, our main boss ended up getting sick and the owner of our Heating and Air Conditioning business said she would have to be upgraded. She didn’t want to recruit someone from the outside that didn’t have experience or already believe how we conducted business, so she said she wanted to promote from within our business. Everybody automatically nominated me for the position and nobody there had any objections. It all happened so fast and I tried to say that I didn’t want to be promoted. One friend I was talking to a little later asked me why I wouldn’t want a promotion when I basically already do the task. She said I might be taking care of a little more paperwork, but everybody typically came to me for help anyway, so I might as well get paid for the task that I was already doing. I love how our friend is able to put things in perspective enjoy that, she had a wonderful point. So I accepted the task position and arguably, things have been running better since I started running things. This is because I believe precisely what we need to do as a supplier to get ahead, and what we need to focus on. Taking care of the customers is typically our number one goal.
