This summer I have so many plans! I have a couple of vacations and trips planned with friends, and I have a few solo projects around the house that I will be finally getting together.
I don’t always have the time throughout the year because I am a teacher, so the summer is time for me to do what feels good and catch up on stuff.
One of the projects I am working on is building a new deck, which means I am spending a lot of time in front of the air conditioner to cool off during my breaks. It’s so hot this summer and so I am really grateful to have my air conditioner when the sun becomes unbearable. Not many people know this, but it’s really important to have an air conditioning service plan with your company or technician. When you have a service plan in place, you often are able to make updates, improvements, or repairs to your air conditioner before the heat becomes too much. So many people end up needing repairs during the summer after cranking their air conditioner so much, and then they are stuck without it for days since the demand for technicians is so high. I was able to have my air conditioner checked out about two times throughout the year, so I knew the HVAC was in good working condition to crank things up once the summer heat began rolling in. I am so grateful for that because this deck is kicking my butt! I have to be very careful about the time of day I choose to work outside because I know I will overheat if I do it in the middle.
