My sister just had a current baby and we are so happy about the addition to our family.
She is the cutest little baby I have ever seen, although I may be just a little biased! My sister and her hubby are really happy to bring her home and seem to have everything they need set up! I was wondering if the air quality mattered at home since the baby is born into such a sterile environment at the hospital.
I wonder how much that air purification method there impacts the immunity of babies when they first enter the world. Some people debate that babies shouldn’t necessarily live in environments where the air quality is too perfect because they need to be exposed to toxins in order to build up strong immunity. Some people argue that they need to have air quality because their immune systems are so fragile and can’t withstand toxins or pollutants in the air. I’m reminded that people have given birth out in the wild for generations and they grew into strong and healthy human beings, so having an air purification method isn’t necessarily going to make or break the baby. It’s okay to have an air purification system in the house, although I don’t think anyone should go deranged trying to keep everything extra clean for the baby, then they need that exposure to get stronger. You also can’t shield your baby from everything in life, so this may be a great small step to releasing control over their experience and allowing their bodies to do what they’re meant to do.
