Well, I was hoping this cold wouldn’t go down into my lungs like it did last night, which now means it’ll be coughing each day till it’s gone.
I have some Biofreeze gel which cools down my chest when I rub it on so I am using that a lot, but the only real cure for a chest cold like this is time.
Sweet sweet time. By the time you read this it will be a thing of the past so I will just be you while I have this cold, hehe. I was going to get some heating maintenance done this week but I think I better wait before having someone come to my flat because they will probably get sick too. I made some homemade chicken soup and am going to eat it for my meals, along with some salads, and hopefully I will be cured within a few days. The heating repair can wait as the weather is mild and we won’t have any cold weather for another couple of months. Sometimes I only run the heat in my house a few days out of the whole winter if it is a mild one. I also have a fireplace I can use to heat the house but it is quite a bit of work to do so since I have to haul the wood in each week and then clean the fireplace out. I’ll use that as a backup if it gets really cold and my main unit is not working well but I think they will have it running fine in no time.
