My mother had a vintage coffee table when he got married, plus he still had it when I was a little boy. This coffee table has a glass top plus beneath the glass was a scene of angels plus babies. I thought it was easily the most beautiful piece of furnace my mom owned. I asked if I could have the coffee table when I got married? Over the years, the glass top had broken, plus mom had set the coffee table in the attic. My parents passed away before I got married. I didn’t assume that the old coffee table was still in the attic, however I wanted to go into the attic before my siblings auctioned the apartment off. I knew there could be items up there that 1 of us may want before the auction. I took the weekend plus my sibling, my hubby plus I went up the stairs. It was the first time either of us had ever been in the attic. The first thing I spotted was that vintage coffee table, which I had my hubby put into our truck. My siblings found a trunk full of Mom’s tools, plus some that belonged to our Grandfather. There were trunks full of articles that belonged to my fantastic Grandma. I found a letter inside one of the trunks that my mother had written. The coffee table belonged to my fantastic Grandma’s Grandma. They had handed it down through the years, plus he hoped I still enjoyed it as much as I had when I was a small child. Along with the coffee table, I also took the trunk that belonged to my fantastic Grandfather.
