My Heating, Ventilation & A/C business needed a big jump if I was going to continue growing and not fade into non-existence.
Too various suppliers had closed since the start of the virus, and I didn’t want our Heating, Ventilation & A/C business to be the next, but everyone thought Heating, Ventilation & A/C companies would get stronger because of everyone staying home, but people were afraid to let the Heating, Ventilation & A/C worker into their houses.
I needed to grow our Heating, Ventilation & A/C business without getting face to face with our buyers. My child told me I should get a website and link it to social media. With online advertising through social media and have it affixed to our website, I should be able to add more buyers. I asked her if anyone would promise our business would increase if I had a website, and she shook her head. She told me that just like our Heating, Ventilation & A/C business, no one could promise that. All of us could not promise our Heating, Ventilation & A/C business would constantly be there for our buyers, and the advertising business could not promise I would get enough business to keep our business growing. She said that without creating a website, and advertising on social media, she could promise I wouldn’t be working much longer. I didn’t enjoy the sound of this although she pointed out our situation was already critical and I could only grow if I provided a professional website, and social media advertising an occasion to do its work. I knew our child was smart because she was mine, and asked her to do the legwork and find an online advertising business who could do the task for us. That was a year ago, and I have already seen some growth in the Heating, Ventilation & A/C business. It was a small growth, but it is only the start.
