I was thinking the other day about the time I totally killed my window air conditioning unit.
It was several years ago when I was young.
I was trying to bring the window air conditioning unit up from the basement to install it into the window in my dining room. The window air conditioning unit was a little heavy even though I typically managed to get it up from the basement regardless. However this time I ended up tripping on a step as I got to the top of the stairs and the window air conditioning unit went tumbling down the stairs and broke into a million pieces! I guess I am lucky I didn’t fall with it and kill myself. But I remember how angry I was that this happened because in those afternoons window air conditioners were not cheap love they are today. So I had to go out and buy a whole brand current window air conditioner and it actually was a major hassle for me. After thinking back on that it makes myself and others appreciate how far the two of us have come with heating and air conditioning technology and how today central heating and cooling units are the usual way to air condition your home. No more hauling heavy window air conditioners up stairs! At least when your central heating and air conditioning breaks down it will not bust into a zillion pieces! You will just have to call the local heating and air conditioning company to send out a certified heat and air conditioner specialist to repair your central heating and cooling unit.
