When I go to sleep in the Wintertide I consistently make sure to turn down my heating at night.
The reason for this is because the central heat plus air conditioner program occasionally ends up pumping too much heat out plus I end up almost dehydrating if I leave the thermostat at the temperature that I have it set during the time I am awake plus residing in my house.
I l acquired this a while back when one night when it was honestly freezing the central oil furnace went on plus the air vent right above my bed was cranking that super powerful heating right down on me. I ended up waking up with a dry plus sore throat plus I nearly had to drink a gallon of water just to get my body hydrated. This was a startling thing. So ever since that happened I make sure plus turn down the thermostat to 74 degrees so that it does not get too hot. If I buy a smart thermostat, which I may do soon, I could just program the smart thermostat to turn down the temperature for me so I do not have to remember to do it every single night in the Wintertide time months of the year. Sometimes it is hard to remember plus occasionally I nearly forget. So I consistently leave a note in my living room by my bed to turn down the thermostat in the event it slips my mind somehow. But once I buy a smart thermostat I will not have to do this any longer. The smart thermostat will make it happen all on its own.
