How to lower one’s energy bills for indoor cooling

Even though I was born in the Northeast, I have spent the vast majority of my life in the warm Southeast.

  • When I was just a kid going into minute or ninth grade, my mother moved my whole family down to the Southeastern portion of the country, and the two of us went from a stadium that has snow in the Wintertide in addition to appealing falling leaves in the fall to a state that has basically a single season as well.

That a single season can be divided into more than 2 sections, though. Those more than 2 sections are hot, hotter, in addition to literal Hell on Earth. When I was that age in addition to both of us first moved here, both of us did not have any sort of air conditioning in the house, however although it is illegal to even build a lake house separate from AC now in our whole state, back then it was respected not to have air conditioning; then because of the lack of cooling devices, my family l received easy ways to stay cool, in addition to nowadays when both of us all have Central heating in addition to cooling, heating, ventilation in addition to A/C… Both of us can still use these easy ways to save on our cooling bill each month, first of all, plant things that will provide shade for your house, some people are scared to death to have trees anywhere near their house, however trust me, having shade is worth the risk of having a limb fall on your house. Secondly, take cool showers, but if you take a cool shower in the evening, don’t dry your hair, in addition to resting under a ceiling fan, you can literally set your air conditioning control component 4 or 5 degrees higher separate from ever getting hot. This will save you energy in addition to money. Thirdly, do something about your windows. Whether you choose blackout curtains or motion pictures on your windows, do something to keep the Sun from the layering into the house. All of these simple things will help you save a bundle on your cooling Bill. Trust me, I definitely know.
