Consider Replacing Old Window Ac Units in Historic Home with High Velocity HVAC

I am considering getting rid of both the window AC units and the central heating and cooling and getting high velocity HVAC

Have you ever heard of high velocity heating and cooling? I must admit that until I spoke to my HVAC professional recently, I had no idea there was such a thing as high velocity HVAC. You see, here is my situation. I have an older home in the historic area of a little town. My cute little house is just adorable, and although I use it as a rental right now, I intend for it to be my retirement house. At some point over the years, there have been heating and cooling units added to my little house. 100 years ago, of course, there was no such thing as air conditioning, so it was placed on the owners of the home to upgrade over the years. The first thing that was put in was too big window AC units. These two window AC units are not actually in my windows. There are holes cut into the exterior wall that house the air conditioners. One of them works, but one of them doesn’t. I have not taken them out of the wall because I do not want to have to figure out how to cover up those holes or fill in those holes. Somewhere along the line, another owner added Central heating and cooling. This particular owner is my hero. If I did not have Central heating and cooling when I lived there, I do not know what I would have done. I probably would not have bought the house. Anyway, I have had real estate professionals tell me that I really should consider replacing the old window AC unit in my cute historic home, and in fact, I should replace all the air conditioning and get high velocity HVAC. One of the problems with my AC is the fact that my ductwork is under the house, and it is difficult to get to for us but really simple for Critters who love to go under there and tear it to shreds. I am considering getting rid of both the window AC units and the central heating and cooling and getting high velocity HVAC. I have not decided yet, but if you are upgrading a historic home and do not yet have Central heating and cooling, please look into High Velocity HVAC. It is amazing and you will not be disappointed.
