One thing I found out from my local heating and air conditioning company is that getting your ductwork cleaned every 6 months is a very wise thing to do.
When you do not get your ductwork cleaned every 6 months this can cause issues with the air quality in your home.
Not to mention, it can also make your central heating and air conditioning system work overtime. And when your central heating and air conditioning system works overtime this can cause to heat and a/c break downs. And of course, I do not have to say that heat and a/c break downs means spending money on HVAC repair. Sometimes it can even lead to having to buy a brand new and up to date central heating and air conditioning system all together. This is something you for sure do not want to happen before your central heating and air conditioning system has run its course. Usually that is at least 10 years, sometimes even 15 years. So always get the ductwork of your central heating and air conditioning system cleaned every 6 months and you will be a lot better off all around with your indoor comfort, your indoor air quality as well as extending the life span of your central heating and cooling unit without question. Ductwork cleaning is a very important part of heating and cooling maintenance! Do not let it slip by you.
