When I wanted to go and buy a brand new portable space heater for my bedroom, I never had any idea in the world that it was going to be as good as it is.
- When I think of space heaters I think of the portable space heaters that we had when I was growing up decades ago.
Back then portable space heaters were not exactly portable if you think about it. They were heavy clunkers that could heat a small space like a bathroom while taking a shower. But that was really about it. However the portable space heaters today can heat an entire huge room in a matter of minutes just as good if not better than a central heating and air conditioning system can. I was totally surprised when finding this out. And it was a good surprise too. By having such a powerful portable space heater I no longer have to run my central heating and air conditioning system at night. The original idea was to get a portable space heater to take out some of the chill in the bedroom and compliment the central heating since there is only 1 air vent in my bedroom. But since the portable space heater that I bought is this powerful, I can forget the central heating all together and save tons of money on my monthly energy bill in the super cold winter months of the year by turning on the portable space heater in the bedroom and running the electric fireplace in the living room.
