I was so thankful for having a portable a/c system in our house… My central heating and a/c system had broke down during a truly boiling summer time day a few months back and the heating and cooling company could not get anyone out to repair it on the same day.
Under bizarre circumstances I would have had to go to a hotel for the night and waste a few hundred bucks.
But because I had a portable a/c system I was able to pull that out, plug it in and cool whatever room I was in throughout the day and the night. It was almost love still having our central heating and a/c system fully toiling because the portable a/c system was so powerful. I was real lucky to have it. I nearly did not buy a portable a/c system and had no interest in a single. Until a single day I was shopping at this a single outlet store and then the two of us found a single that was on sale for a honestly good price. This is what made me buy the portable a/c system. I had not used it but a single time and put it in the closet. But for heating and cooling emergencies such as this it made it all worth it to have it! It saved me a few hundred bucks on hotel costs and food for the night. I prefer it how things occasionally just work out for the truly best. And this portable a/c system thing was a nice example of just that.
