When I wanted to go and buy a brand current portable space heating system for our home office, I never had any plan in the world that it was going to be as nice as it is.
When I guess of space gas oil furnaces I guess of the portable space gas oil furnaces that the two of us had when I was growing up decades ago. Back then portable space gas oil furnaces were not exactly portable if you guess about it. They were heavy clunkers that could heat a small space love a bathroom while taking a shower. But that was honestly about it. However the portable space gas oil furnaces today can heat an entire big room in a matter of hours just as nice if not better than a central heating and a/c system can. I was totally surprised when finding this out. And it was a nice surprise too. By having such a powerful portable space heating system I no longer have to run our central heating and a/c system at night. The original plan was to get a portable space heating system to take out some of the chill in the home office and compliment the central heating since there is only 1 air vent in our home office. But since the portable space heating system that I bought is this powerful, I can forget the central heating all together and save tons of money on our yearly energy bill in the super freezing Winter months of the year by turning on the portable space heating system in the home office and running the electric fireplace in the family room.
