I am someone who prefers to save money whenever and wherever I can, no matter how much.
Even if it is truly little.
Because every single bit counts. The a single thing that I save a little money on when it comes to energy use is because I use a portable space heating system in the Winter to heat our family room instead of using the central heating and a/c system. It does not save a whole ton of money, but it saves me a little bit. Enough that at the end of the year I have saved at least a single hundred dollars. This is truly little but to me any savings is nice savings. That is the way I love it. I had thought about buying a portable a/c system and doing the same exact thing in the boiling summer time time months of the year, but with that a portable a/c system cost a lot more than a portable space heater. So if I was to do that I am not sure how much I would save but it absolutely would not be enough to cover the cost of the portable a/c system itself within the year, which is why I have not done it. And I absolutely won’t even do it ever unless I can find a portable a/c system on sale for half off the respected price. Then it would be worth it. But unless that is found I will just stick with the portable space heater.
