I am someone who prefers to save money whenever and wherever I can, no matter how much.
Even if it is very little. Because every single bit counts. The 1 thing that I save a little money on when it comes to energy use is because I use a portable space oil furnace in the Wintertide to heat our family room instead of using the central heating and cooling system. It does not save a whole ton of money, but it saves me a little bit. Enough that at the end of the year I have saved at least 1 hundred dollars. This is very little but to me any savings is fantastic savings. That is the way I love it. I had thought about buying a portable cooling system and doing the same exact thing in the boiling summer time time months of the year, but with that a portable cooling system cost a lot more than a portable space heater. So if I was to do that I am not sure how much I would save but it absolutely would not be enough to cover the cost of the portable cooling system itself within the year, which is why I have not done it. And I absolutely won’t even do it ever unless I can find a portable cooling system on sale for half off the official price. Then it would be worth it. But unless that is found I will just stick with the portable space heater.
