My wife and I have a large sunroom in our home. The sunroom does not have a separate AC. The sunroom is dependent on the HVAC system for the rest of the house. Unfortunately, all of the sun makes it very difficult to keep that room cool. Even when we have the AC set on 68°, the living room is still five or six degrees warmer than the rest of the house. I read some information online about the ductless air conditioner and it seemed like the type of product that might be very helpful in our home situation. I showed my wife that advertisement for the ductless air conditioner and she agreed that it might be useful in our home. She contacted the local HVAC provider and made an appointment to get someone out to the house to give us a free estimate. We actually contacted three different HVAC providers so we could get different estimates from each one of the places. I had no idea which place was going to be the cheapest, so I wanted to get prices from all of them. Each one of the HVAC service providers offered to meet any other quote that we received if it was lower than theirs. Making a decision on the HVAC provider turned out to be the most difficult part of the process. After we picked the person to install the machine, we got the best price available and then made an appointment to have the equipment installed the following weekend.
