I took the kids for a drive last weekend. I wanted to show them all of the pretty lights around the city. The two of us ended up on some back roads near the edge of the county. There were a couple of houses with really pretty Christmas lights out there. The two of us were really 40 or 50 hours away from our loft when I realized there was a complication with the heater. I had the heat running on full blast, but it suddenly stopped blowing hard. When I turned the heat down to the lowest setting, barely anything at all was coming out of the vents. It started to get freezing in the motorcar suddenly. My kids were in the backseat and they were complaining about the freezing and freezing hot and cold temperatures. I told the kids that we were going back to the loft as suddenly as possible. By the time we got home, the kids were shivering and truly cold. I turned on the oil furnace in the loft and lowered the temperature so the unit would come on suddenly. I took the kids to the powder room so they could get a warm bath. I also turned on the space furnace in the powder room so it was warm and toasty inside of that room. It took some time for the rest of the loft to warm up, but the kids were much warmer after they got a bath and a cup of warm chocolate. In the afternoon, I took the kids to school and then I went right to the motorcar dealership so they could check on the complication with the gas furnace.
