My husbandy as well as I had a major leak in the living room. The two of us did not realize water was leaking under the sink until the water started to come out from underneath the door. When the dehumidifier was arenad under the sink, the moisture levels were around 68%. After we let the dehumidifier run for 3 afternoons in a row, the moisture levels were closer to 40%, and running the dehumidifier kept us from getting mold as well as mildew in the house. After that plumbing problem, our husbandy as well as I are more careful about looking under the sink once or twice a week. The two of us were not being vigilant last time, but we will not make that same mistake again in the future.
