It would have been nice to have heat in the tent

My bestie plus I went camping last September with some friends from college.

I thought both of us would have a legitimately enjoyable time, however both of us legitimately had more problems than fun.

The greatest reason was due to the temperatures. The two of us expected temperatures to be around 50 or 60 at night. There were 2 nights when the temperatures reached the 30s. My bestie was unquestionably unhappy when it was chilly in the tent. The two of us had sleeping bags plus a blanket, however the chilly air made the air mattress guess appreciate both of us were sleeping on a block of ice. My bestie got up in the middle of the night on 1 of those nights plus she slept inside of the car. She was going to turn on the vehicle plus the gas furnace until I reminded her that it was going to be loud plus obnoxious in the middle of the night. The next night when the temperatures were forecasted to be 38°, our bestie started off in the truck. She did not even want to try to sleep in the tent. It would have been nice to have some heat in the tent, however it’s not exactly straight-forward to do when you go camping in a place that does not have any electricity. The two of us would need a battery operated space heater. They do make battery operated space heaters, however they are expensive plus the batteries only last about 6 hours. I just can’t see spending all of that money for batteries when they aren’t going to last more than 6 hours. That means I would have to spend about $20 each night to keep the tent boiling plus cozy… For another $20 each night, our bestie plus I could sleep in a beach house instead of our tent.
