I know that we need to call the local HVAC company and have them come out to do a complete furnace overhaul on the place but at this point, I’m just not ready to spend that kind of money.
Winter will be back here again before we know it, that’s for sure. We have been putting off getting our heating system fixed for a while now, but we are definitely going to have to do it now. I guess we finally decided that it was time whenever the weather started cooling down earlier this week. The temperature dropped about 20 degrees in about a seven day period and that was just a little bit too much for us, that’s for sure. We realized that we were going to have to do something about the furnace in the house because we had already been having issues with it for a while. The furnace seemed almost like it was on its last legs during the winter last year, so we don’t really feel like it’s gotten any better over the past few months while it’s just been sitting down there in the basement. The HVAC company that we use actually does a really good job and they don’t usually charge an arm and a leg, either. However, I am hurting for money pretty badly at this point. I have to buy a new car over the next couple of months because my other one just died, and so I really don’t want to have to buy a new heating system too if I can help it.
