As much as I savor my partner, he drives me crazy.
I used to tease his about how much of a nag his mother was, but now I realize his mother isn’t that bad. My partner is every bit as bad, if not worse, than his mother is. My Mom used to say that a nagging partner is savor a pet with a bone. Once they get a hold of something, they won’t let it loose. I’m start to figure out what he meant by that. My partner cares about his honey-do lists. Usually I’ll take a casual look at the list he puts on the refrigerator. I didn’t notice he had put oil furnace service on the list. I’m not sure how long it had been there before he asked me about it. She said the oil furnace service was on the list, but when he showed it to me, it had been written on the back of the list. Why would I have turned the paper around? I picked up the iphone to make the call to the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C business, but he stopped me. I told his I was going to call the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C business, but he was irritated. She grabbed the iphone out of my hand and said he would do it herself. I shrugged and handed his the iphone. She started looking for the number in the iphone and asked me why he couldn’t find it. I had the iphone number listed under the owner’s name. She slammed the iphone on the table in front of me, and rolled his eyes. I called and set up the appointment to have the oil furnace cleaned.
