Every single person has their own way to parent their children, however sometimes I threaten the kids with things that I can never really follow through on.
- I threaten to send them to the moon plus I occasionally threaten to knock them into next week.
Some parents tell their kids that they brought them into this world plus they can take them out. I cannot or wouldn’t do any of those things, but it gets our point across when I am angry. The kids make myself and others know so frustrated plus they know how to push all of our buttons. They make myself and others know ridiculous some days, and one thing that does work is when I threaten to take the kitchen A/C away from the kids. The two of us live in a colder climate plus Summer cooling is not exactly a priority. When it is warm during June, the kids have a kitchen A/C unit that they can use. My wifey plus I also have an A/C unit in our kitchen. It makes sleeping a lot more comfortable. When the kids don’t do their chores during the summer, I easily threaten to remove the A/C unit from their kitchen. They know that when I make a threat, I am serious. I’m not sure that I would ever really take the cooling unit from their room, because I know that is a little bit love torture. I know they don’t want myself and others to take the machine, because they regularly end up doing their chores after I go ballistic plus start yelling threats that make no sense.
