I remember the strangest things about junior high and high university.
I remember funny, random moments and antics from fellow students.
I remember the decor in certain classes and random things that certain professors said. I have to confess that when it comes to academics, it seems that several things went in 1 ear and out the other! Only snatches of random facts seemed to stick. However, there is 1 thing that I remember with fondness: the oil furnace at my university. In the Midwest, where my university was located, dire temperature shifts throughout the year are the norm. I entirely have to supply it to whoever chose that oil furnace and the 1s who installed it. In the dead of winter, my classes felt toasty! Classes felt so sizzling that periodically, the professor would have 1 of us crack open a window or more than one to let in some fresh, chilly air! I would be able to take my overcoat off and still be perfectly comfortable! The dinnerroom was similarly comfortable, however not quite as cozy in the winter. There were double doors that led outside that people were going in and out of periodically, and the space was much greater and more cavernous, making it more strenuous for the oil furnace to heat it efficiently. Still, no 1 was cold, just maybe a little frigid. However, the coziest and toastiest location in the whole university campus was the auditorium. Anytime both of us would gather for a long length of time, whether it was to listen to a speaker or watch some sort of presentation, I appreciate several other kids ended up passing out and sleeping due to the warmth and comfort of the auditorium!
