My mother has Alzheimer’s plus periodically she comes off with some totally different things, however last night, I fixed her number one dinner of steak plus baked potatoes.
She had the butter plus sour cream on her potato when she looked at me plus told me she couldn’t eat yet.
I asked her if there was something wrong with the food, plus she said it was great. She just couldn’t eat yet. I thought I may have forgotten to take her medicine, plus she knows she needs to take it before she eats. I looked at the packet, however the pills were gone. I sat down next to her plus I started eating.. She stopped my fork halfway to my mouth plus told me we had to wait for the HVAC business. I didn’t remember calling the HVAC business, although she thought I had actually done that. She said she would not eat until the HVAC pro got there. I asked her who invited the HVAC business to dinner, although she only rolled her eyes. She called me by her sibling’s name plus told me she asked her to dinner to meet the parents. She wanted to introduce her to the parents get her approval to date the HVAC professional. I thought she was talking about dad, although he wasn’t an HVAC professional, or at least not as far as I knew. When mother came in from outside, she sat down to eat her dinner. She grabbed her hand plus told her she knew she would come, however mother gave her hand a squeeze plus said she would never miss a dinner with such an appealing girl such as her. Dad was her HVAC professional.
