So much wind was blasting through the windows

Instead of curling up on the sofa, I had to deal with a busted up window

There is genuinely nothing worse than having a freezing winter’s draft blowing through your dwelling when you’re already cold. I honestly drive a snowplow and occasionally you can’t have your windows up, and last week, we had an early snowstorm that had traffic come to a standstill. I was driving the snowplow that didn’t have any heat whatsoever! No matter what I did to the Heating and A/C appliance, the heat refused to turn on. The air conditioning worked well, however to keep my windshield from being chilly, I had to have the air conditioning blowing the entire time. I wasn’t thrilled with this, however at least I was only on the road for a four-hour shift, even if it felt like it was a twenty-four-hour shift. By the time I got back to the shed, I was shivering a good amount. I swore my eyes were frozen. I could not wait to get back to my dwelling and get warm. I told the mechanic he had to repair the Heating and A/C appliance before I returned in the morning. I was not driving that snowplow unless he had heat in it. When I got back to my dwelling, all I could think of was curling up on the sofa with a blanket wrapped around me, and getting warm. Instead of curling up on the sofa, I had to deal with a busted up window. The wind had knocked a branch off a tree. The oil heating appliance was running and there was an icy blast of air coming through the window. With the help of some cardboard and duct tape, I could stop the draft long enough to get some warmth and rest at last..
