The wind had knocked a branch off a tree
There is nothing worse than having a cold frosty season draft blowing through your residence when you’re already cold! I drive a snowplow plus sporadically you can’t have your windows up. The other week, we had an early snowstorm that had traffic come to a standstill. I was driving the snowplow that didn’t have any heat in the least. No matter what I did to the Heating plus A/C machine, the heat refused to turn on, but the air conditioning machine worked well. To keep my windshield from freezing, I had to have the air conditioning machine blowing the entire time. I wasn’t exactly thrilled about this, but at least I was only on the road for a relatively short shift, even if it felt like it was a twenty-four-hours shift. When I got back to the shed, I was shivering a good amount, plus I swore my eyes were totally frozen. I could not wait to get back to my condo plus get warm. I told the mechanic he had to take care of the Heating plus A/C machine before I returned in the afternoon. I was not driving that snowplow unless he had heat in it! When I got back to my residence, all I could think of was curling up on the sofa with a blanket wrapped around me, plus getting warm. Instead of curling up on the sofa, I had to deal with a window that was broken. The wind had knocked a branch off a tree. The heating machine was running plus there was an icy blast of air making its way through the window. With the help of some cardboard plus duct tape, I could stop the draft long enough to get some true warmth plus rest..
