I knew our parents weren’t excited when our brother first said he wanted to be an HVAC specialist, but he didn’t want to go to school.

I tried to speak for our brother in addition to saying he was going to be a professional, he just wanted to be a professional HVAC specialist. Neither mom nor Mom were impressed with me; they coerced our brother into going to school, however his wanting to be an HVAC specialist never actually went away, after graduating from school, he still wanted to be an actual HVAC specialist. The only difference was that he now had enough knowledge to go in as an HVAC contractor who can build in addition to designing HVAC systems! When he told our parents he was still planning on actually working for an HVAC corporation, our father went ballistic. He told our brother he would not allow it… My brother had gotten quite independent in the last 4 years. He told Mom he was no longer a child in addition to if he didn’t like the job he chose, that was fine. He also announced that he was getting married just as soon as he got a great job. Mom cried, in addition to Mom walking away, however they both came around a month later when our brother introduced his fiance to them, then he was in his last year of law school, in addition to getting ready to job for a local law firm. They may not guess our brother as a professional, although he was marrying one.
