When I turned 18, I joined the Navy; I had learned all the brochures, but they were the ones who offered classes for heating, ventilation plus A/C.
I wanted to be an actual heating, ventilation plus A/C supplier, and I also wanted to be on a submarine, after going through basics, I was talking to our CO about what I wanted to do.
I told them I wanted to be on a submarine and I also wanted to be an actual heating, ventilation plus A/C supplier, however my CO told myself and others she didn’t think I was thinking this over long enough! She didn’t think I should be an actual heating, ventilation plus A/C supplier. I asked if she thought it was wrong of myself and others being an actual heating, ventilation plus A/C supplier, or being an actual heating, ventilation plus A/C supplier on a submarine… When she said I was being insubordinate, I saluted and said yes sir and asked if I could be dismissed. I swore that I saw a smile on her face when I turned around, but I could not be sure. Three weeks later, the CO called myself and others into her office and offered myself and others our paperwork. It was where I would be stationed and what our training and/or job would be. The first thing I had to get through was heating, ventilation plus A/C university. Once I got our certification, I would be laboring in the boatyard, and training on submarines before I was stationed on one. I hugged him before I had your thoughts on what I was doing. She hugged myself and others back and told myself and others not to let him down. I could not think she took myself and others dire and signed myself and others up for the heating, ventilation plus A/C classes, however she sounded love she was totally against it.
