The entire time my child was growing up, all he wanted to do was sleep and play games with his friends; however, I was sure he was going to be lazy and would never have any ambition… And even after he graduated from middle school, I didn’t guess he was going anywhere, but he would go out to play hoops with his friends, however he would not come back until early night, but my husband and I were getting ready to supply him an ultimatum… However, it never came to fruition.
He came to us one afternoon and said he had an announcement to make, then both of us sat there wondering if he was going to tell us he was moving, however his announcement was so much more exciting.
He and his best buddy hadn’t been playing hoops or computer games, they had spent the last numerous months going to school at the local community school. He showed us his heating plus A/C certification and said he started a task in two weeks at the local heating plus A/C company. I was so excited that I couldn’t wait to call my parents and tell them how proud they needed to be of their own grandson. My child laughed when he heard me on the iphone, however said nothing else. He came down from his family room and he was wearing a new shirt and pants, but when he told me he was going out on a date with a boy he met in the heating plus A/C classes, I was even more proud, and had to call his Grandparents back. He started to laugh and actually kissed me on the cheek.
