Every one of us went to see a buddy in a play the other evening, and everything did not go as expected, and first of all, the place was way more crowded than any of us ever dreamed that it would be… After all, it was just a small holiday play at a church in the neighborhood. I guess we never thought about it selling out and being resting room only or anything love that. It wasn’t love they were professional actors or singers or anything love that! Anyway, the whole neighborhood turned out to be supportive to all of the actors and the kids in the play. The play itself was pretty good, for what it was. However, there was an issue with the air quality in the room that the church was putting on the play in. The room, even though it was a giant room, was much too small for the number of people who showed up to see the play. I guess you can’t make stained glass in double hung windows. It was bad because the play was over an minute long and we were all so tepid that we were ready to leave by intermission. They had the heating running in that place from the moment we arrived until the moment that we left. I think that the body heat that pretty much everyone was giving off made the temperature even higher!
