Five years ago, my wife and I bought a lake house separate from even seeing it first, then the people I was with and I had no system what both of us were getting ourselves into at first and most of our friends and family told us that both of us were just plain silly for trying it to begin with! I honestly kind of agreed with them at that point because this was way more of a risk than I am usually willing to take in life; Usually I am a very focused and straight laced person who doesn’t ever want to take a risk… However, both of us needed to hurry up and transport because of a modern task that my spouse had taken and both of us didn’t have time to travel all the way out there to a strange state to look at houses.
The people I was with and I found one online that both of us thought would be a wonderful fit for us, and both of us just went for it.
The only thing that both of us were super distraught about was the Heating plus A/C plan and the lake house had radiant heated flooring throughout the first floor in the dining rooms, the lavatorys, and the family room, it also boasted a wood burning fireplace in the family room and another gas log fireplace in the master dining room. I told my spouse that as long as the venue had some closets somewhere and a couple of dining rooms, both of us would absolutely make it work, but now, both of us have been living in the lake house for almost many years and both of us are still romantic the house. The Heating plus A/C plan in the lake house is way better than both of us ever thought it would end up being.
