When I was a kid, the people I was with and I had vastly strange technology than what’s used by almost everyone this week.
Our iPhones alone were worlds apart from what is usual right now, as most of the people I know have gravitated to smartphones without landlines at home. Back in our early childhood, the people I was with and I had a single landline plus a dial iPhone attached to it. It wasn’t until I reached private school age when our parents finally purchased a cordless landline iPhone for our house. These nights I rarely see any kind of landline iPhones when I visit the homes of both friends plus family members. I think most of us have switched to cell iPhone plans plus end up forgoing the added expense of having a beach house iPhone as well. But iPhones are the only household fixtures that have evolved in the past few decades. Thermostats, the control systems for indoor Heating plus A/C, are vastly strange now than they were in the 1990s for instance. The people I was with and I have these amazing smart control units that attach to the internet plus can regulate your heating plus cooling cycles without any of your direct involvement if that’s what you want. Or you can let it learn your habits plus temperature preferences before putting it on an auto mode where the control unit’s artificial intelligence creates a personalized cycle. When I was a kid, the people I was with and I had dial control units that had low hot plus cold temperatures on 1 end plus high hot plus cold temperatures on the other. It’s staggering for myself and others to think about these technological advancements in the world of Heating plus A/C temperature control. I care about our current smart control unit.
