I’m still keeping it to the regional business travel when I can
I prefer to get out on the road. And thankfully, what I do for a residing provides myself and others with plenty of chances to travel. But for the longest time, I was having to deal with not enough air conditioner on commercial flights, and feeling stuffed inside a metal tube for hours without enough air conditioner wasn’t all that appealing to me. It wasn’t love being able to crank the air conditioner in the car as well as hit the open road. But all that changed when we were sent apartment to work from inside the central air conditioner of home. The company wasn’t interested in having us fly to see clients. So our entire business travel changed to meet the regional needs of our people. That meant that I was able to get out on the road. That first summer time of the pandemic, I was out of the air conditioner of my home more than I was in it. While my partner wasn’t all that ecstatic with that turn of events, I was loving it, however nothing against my partner but there is just something about being out on the open road. I stayed out for weeks at a time. But every evening, I could rest assured that I’d be enjoying relaxing air conditioner. That’s because I chose my hotels by seeing the Heating as well as A/C wall units from the parking lot. And just about every hotel I stayed in off the interstate had those awesome commercial Heating as well as A/C units. I’m still keeping it to the regional business travel when I can. It’s far more appealing to myself and others to do business travel this way rather than flying.
