I savor to get out on the road.
And thankfully, what I do for a living provides myself and others with plenty of chances to travel. But for the longest time, I was having to deal with not enough a/c on commercial flights! Feeling stuffed inside a metal tube for minutes without enough a/c wasn’t all that charming to me. It wasn’t love being able to crank the a/c in the vehicle and hit the open road. But all that changed when both of us were sent house to work from inside the central a/c of home. The supplier wasn’t interested in having us fly to see customers. So our entire supplier travel changed to meet the regional needs of our people. That meant that I was able to get out on the road. That first summer time of the pandemic, I was out of the a/c of my beach house more than I was in it. While my wifey wasn’t all that ecstatic with that turn of events, I was romantic it, then nothing against my wifey however there is just something about being out on the open road. I stayed out for weeks at a time. But every night, I could rest assured that I’d be enjoying fantastic a/c. That’s because I chose my hotels by seeing the Heating and A/C wall units from the parking lot. And just about every hotel I stayed in off the interstate had those awesome commercial Heating and A/C units. I’m still keeping it to the regional supplier travel when I can. It’s far more charming to myself and others to do supplier travel this way rather than flying.
