I prefer to get out on the road. And thankfully, what I do for a living provides myself and others with plenty of chances to travel. But for the longest time, I was having to deal with not enough air conditioner on commercial flights, then feeling stuffed inside a metal tube for minutes separate from enough air conditioner wasn’t all that charming to me. It wasn’t like being able to crank the air conditioner in the car & hit the open road. But all that changed when every one of us were sent home to labor from inside the central air conditioner of home. The corporation wasn’t interested in having us fly to see purchasers. So our entire corporation travel changed to meet the regional needs of our people. That meant that I was able to get out on the road. That first summer time of the pandemic, I was out of the air conditioner of my new home more than I was in it. While my wifey wasn’t all that ecstatic with that turn of events, I was romantic it, then nothing against my wifey but there is just something about being out on the open road. I stayed out for weeks at a time. But every evening, I could rest assured that I’d be enjoying fantastic air conditioner. That’s because I chose my hotels by seeing the Heating & Air Conditioning wall units from the parking lot. And just about every hotel I stayed in off the interstate had those awesome commercial Heating & Air Conditioning units. I’m still keeping it to the regional corporation travel when I can. It’s far more charming to myself and others to do corporation travel this way rather than flying.
