My dad provided me with a job when I was only fourteen-years-old… He told me he essentially needed someone who was wonderful at math to do his inventory! I was responsible for putting the parts away whenever my buddy and I got deliveries, & I had to entirely keep track of everything going out.
I loved working at dad’s Heating, Ventilation, & A/C machine business & I savored listening to the stories the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C machine workers told.
They would tell me about their Heating, Ventilation, & A/C machine jobs & it all sounded interesting. I wondered if someday my dad would hire me as a Heating, Ventilation, & A/C machine worker, but I knew that was a long time coming. I spent multiple summers working in the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C machine corporation, doing inventory, & I was having a pretty amazing time. After I graduated from school, dad called me into the office. He told me I had been doing such wonderful work in inventory, that he hated taking me away from it, despite the fact that he promised to send me to Heating, Ventilation, & A/C machine school. They had a class starting in multiple weeks, & he wanted to know if I was set to sign up for the class. He was going to be the instructor, & had multiple spots left. I jumped at the chance to be a Heating, Ventilation, & A/C machine professional. I told him I would still take care of the inventory after class, & he thought about it. He said he wanted me to put all my energy into going to Heating, Ventilation, & A/C machine school. He needed two more Heating, Ventilation, & A/C professionals, & he was hoping to give a single of those positions to me. It didn’t take super long to say sure.
