We were traveling cross country to visit my sibling, but we got about halfway to our destination, plus were traveling through the desert when we decided to stop for the evening… But not a single one had ever told myself and others that the desert got freezing in the evening, so finding a hotel that didn’t have heat wasn’t the worst deal ever.
We walked into the restaurant, plus it was so nice that we knew we had made a nice choice! The room was carefully decorated in native American motif, plus it was appealing; then my fiance was looking at the heating plus A/C method plus said it was odd how it was only set for air conditioning, and it was freezing in the room, plus we shut the AC component off.
We were just crawling into bed, plus I was beginning to shiver. We talked about calling the front desk to get some blankets, but he didn’t suppose it would get that cool. I curled up in bed, however the sheets were cooling sheets, plus it was even colder. I called the front desk plus asked about blankets. They told myself and others there was a single in the top of the closet, plus we could use it. I pulled the blanket down plus put it on the bed, however even with the blanket, we were shivering by 2 AM. I curled as close to my fiance as possible, however it wasn’t working. I got up, dressed, plus packed our things. I looked over in time to see my fiance putting his shoes on. He said it would be warmer in the car, plus since we were heading to the car, we may as well begin the rest of the journey early.
